Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: I really enjoyed using this book in my classroom. My students were excited to attempt the different hands on activities. I would recommend this book for anyone who is looking to provide a whole language experience for their students.

Rating: Summary: My Student's Loved This! Review: I teach fifth grade, and my students get so tired of the same old spelling activities. Then I discovered this book. The activities are fun and creative. There is something for everyone. One of my students favorite activities was the map. In this activity the student's created a map of a state and use their spelling words to name the places. Then I was able to use the social studies skills by having them add to their maps geo features, and math when they measured the distance between cities and created a map key. Another favorite activity was the comic strip. I had a boy in my class who hated to write, but loved to draw. He created some of the funniest comic strips and went far beyond what I asked him to do. Then it worked so well with my students who are on different spelling lists. Whether they were on a higher or lower list of words everyone could do the same activity. I sure hope these authors come up with more activities, because I'll be interested in seeing them!
