Review: Every person who likes to read will enjoy this book. In the section about animals, there is an article about how extinct species can be brought back. They brought the Tarpan horse back by cross-breeding certain types of horses from all over the world. There's a story about freezing humans with diseases to bring them back to life in the future when a cure is found. This was written almost 30 years ago, and this still has not been mastered in our time. There's stories of hauntings, and unexplained events. It's a book with a bunch of short stories grouped in sections. Excellent reading.

Summary: I have been looking for this book for 8 years
Review: I once owned a copy of this book in my early 20's and after reading it I was telling a co worker that I could not put this book down while I was reading it ... every page I found out something new. I loaned the book to him and 2 months later he moved (taking my only copy) and I never heard from him again. When I tried ordering another one I was told that the book was out of print. I had been searching for 8 years when I tried it out through amazon.com and there were nearly 50 used copies availible ! I bought 3 - I gave one to an employee (I am self employeed now) and I plan to keep the other 2 for myself.

Review: My 8th grade english teacher would stories out og this book on ocation. I loved the stories in it, and looked all over for my own copy. I checked it out of libary and could not put it down. It instently impaced my life. I even wrote a play in high school drama class using some of the stories surronded by a teen related sort of "Saved by the Bell" plot. Anyway, I love this book, and I know everyong can find something in it that they love too.

Review: the book overall tells stories of past and present ideas and theories that try or tried to have an effect on the world.There are many tales of war,poverty,and tradgedy.Of things that changed the course of history,and altered continents.Facts stating the destruction of proud and tyrant civilizations.The book speaks of space and the universe.Things like the lengths of years on the other 8 planets,The moons that exist and star placement in the sky.I could never begin to state the vast amounts of knowledge flowing from that book.And I can truly say that it is one of the most interesting pieces of knowledge that i have ever read.
