Rating: Summary: Good one Review: This book, I think, is the best of the whole series! I love adventure novels and this one has lots of it! If you have read Plains of Passage, by Jean Auel, this is a must read!
Rating: Summary: Up To the Gears' Usual Standards Review: This is a big book, but it really doesn't take long once you get into it. The story line is very good, and it's exciting and holds the attention. This is one of the best books I've read where the characters are travelling. Having two sets of people going to the same place made it interesting. This is my second favourite book so far in the series,:"People of the Fire" being first. This one is more like a prehistoric romance than any of the others.
Rating: Summary: People of the Lakes Review: This is book is one of the best I have read this year. This is an epic tale and one that begs for a screenplay or a script. I cannot imagine why Hollywood has not taken this story and told it on the big screen. It would make a great motion picture. After having read it you will never look at great bodies of water, deep forests, rainbows, or crows, the same way again.
