Review: I am getting married in November of this year and thought this book was really well done with great IDEAS for my fiance' and I! Even if you don't have millions to spend like Jessica everything can be brought down to realistic ideas. People think their wedding has to be as extravagent and it doesn't, it's all about making the day yours.

Summary: I'm a new fan!
Review: I have been watching the Newlyweds on MTV, and have to confess I go more for the Nick type than the Jessica type, but oh well. I found their adventures in couple-hood to be quite interesting; not profound, but not cheesy, over-hyped, or too staged. When I saw that Jessica had put together a book of their wedding on one of the episodes, I thought it might be a nice thing to get, and then pass on to my niece, who is much more of the age to be the likely fan for Jessica. I found this book to be very interesting and very sweet, just the sort of book a teenaged girl would find good for her own fantasy wedding to an attractive young man such as Nick. Of course, my niece is not likely to become a pop star (although one never knows!), but the idea of a wedding is already beginning to bloom in her. The photography is good, and the subjects are interesting and visually appealing. There isn't too much text, and it is neither too complicated to understand nor is it too simplistic. Again, the kind of thing that would appeal to the target audience of young ladies, but also in a more limited way to a broader audience. I wish the newlyweds well with their life together and their careers.

Review: I have to say I read everyone elses reviews and a few of the reviews we totally uncalled for!! The book is great and I read it AFTER I WAS married!! Jessica is giving you her ideas and people who say they wont be married in a year and shes spoiled are just jealous of her life and career... if you hate her so much why buy the book?????? I am a married 32 year old woman who respects Jessica and her marrige to Nick so from someone who has been there and planned a wedding already, her book is great help for those planning a wedding. And for the few who dont like her book that is fine everyone has an opinion, but please GET OVER IT AND RATE THE BOOK NOT HER!!!If you felt that strongly about your feelings toward Jessica you should have saved your money.......

Review: I like Jessica, respect her as an artist, but to put together a wedding book, just because you are well off, famous, and married?!? Give me a break, please. That would mean that most celebrities can write a book by asking professionals in the flower, dress, catering, planning business to write an excerpt and then viola! You have yourself a book. I like the pictures and think her wedding was gorgeous but why should Jessica receive royalties and credit when all she really did was make a couple of phone calls and contact a publishing company?

Review: I like this book from Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey because those two newlyweds were a sweet sensitive and a cute couple and it shows themselves that they loved each other very much and I watch their shows on MTV like every almost single weekdays and sometimes on the weekends when it's shows on the television it's great to have a cute couple married each other very happy and very romance too! I wish Jessica and Nick would never ever gonna go in argument ever again! so good luck to the both of you cute couples! I am very pleased and happy for you two cute couples!!

Review: I loved this book! The pictures were gorgeous and I used them to help come up with my makeup ideas and flower ideas for my wedding. It's a fabulous book and Jessica should be proud.

Summary: Nice but not as promised
Review: I purchased this book and was disappointed that there was not a DVD in it. It must be a publishing problem, because I went to another book store and the book there didn't have one in it either. I returned it thinking I will just get it from Amazon because I saw a review that said they got a DVD with their purchase. Well, I didn't one with that book either. Maybe it was just a promotional gimmick? The book is nicely presented, though. Nice pictures and helpful ideas on planning your dream wedding. There are also alot of personal insights from Jessica.

Review: I'll tell you, I don't think there is anything Jessica can't do. She is absolutely unbelievable!! I love her book. I love the pictures of her and Nick and she gives such great advice on how to plan a wedding. Even though I won't be getting married for some time, I can use this advice for when the time comes. Thanks for your advice Jess!
