Summary: Making Money off people her promoters make fun of.
Review: The author of this book appeared on Imus in the morning to discuss and promote this book. Imus is one of her clients. I was appalled at how the interview basically became just a rant by Imus about why anyone with any self-esteem would want to marry a "fat chick" anyway? This idiot, who apparently REALLY believes this, (i.e. this is not just one of his cynical statements made for entertainment value) since he repeated this view numerous times even after the interview had ended, even expressed his amazement to the young woman guest who was on with the author, why her husband even asked her to marry him when she was previously so fat! Believe me, he was not joking. The author made a couple of little comments, but NEVER stood up to Imus on this. I suppose the promotion of her book was more important. Imus made VERY clear that a man must have some serious self-esteem problem if he is dating a fat chick (as he put it). Imus said that why would anyone with any self-esteem lower themselves to being seen with a fat woman when he could choose someone else? Well, I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion, but so am I. I watched this interview b/c I was interested in what the author might have to say and points she may have. Now, my opinion . . . I wouldn't buy this book for any reason. If this author really cared about her clients she would have said something about all that ranting during this interview. If she wants to make money off of women who want to be thin or make themselves look better, then she should stick up for them when someone like Imus saye they are essestially worthless and not worth a man's time unless he's somehow completely devoid of self-esteem. Sounds like someone was a bit too interested in promoting her book instead of her ideals.

Summary: It's a great book
Review: The book is detailed and very helpful. The author gives a detail description (with pics) of the exercises that can be done at a gym or at home. She offers meal plans for a 1900, 1500, and 1300 calorie diet. Also, the workout routines change after 3 months. For example, you start out doing strength training 3 days a week. For each day, you have different workouts to do. Then after the first 3 months, she gives you 4 days a week, with different ones, etc. I think it's a great plan because she's not trying to sell other products like many other authors. She recommends multivitamins, antioxidants, and protein shakes, but she's not all for one product. And I've looked and found all these things for very cheap! What's great is that this is a 6 month plan, meaning it's realistic. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to get into shape, not just brides.

Summary: Awesome Work Outs
Review: This book has proven to be the next best thing to a personal trainer. It takes you every step of the way and gives you workouts that really do the job. You walk away from the gym feeling wonderful and confident. I highly recommend this book for anyone not just brides.
