Review: The first and largest section of the book is an list of almost every actor in gay porn, though it didnt take me long to find some guys that are missing. For each actor there is an list of videos he has appeared in though I did find some ommissions there too. This is a first edition and the publishers do encourage readers to submit additional info or corrections for future editions (though I wonder what the odds of a second edition are). The second section is a list of almost every gay video made and the studio that produced it. Then in the third section there is a list of gay video companies with addresses and phone numbers (which is commonly available from the Internet or AVN magazine). That is it. Now to what the book does not have. The book does not have headshots as the description above claims. There are practically no pictures. There are a few pages of small low-quality black and white photos of some cover boxes. This is a big drawback because, how often have you seen a guy in a movie and don't know or can't remember his name? Also, there are not actor bios as claimed. There are snippets of info on a few actors such as birthdate or date of death or brief physical description but the majority have none at all. Something that would have made the book much more useful would be to have cast listings in the video titles section to be able to cross-reference with the actor videography section. Again, how often do you remember the title of a movie but not the names of the guys in it? Overall, a useful and overdue reference book, thought it could have been improved. However, it is rather dry and not very enjoyable.

Review: This book was incredible! Lists ever porn star from the 1970 to 2000. The back of this book has an A-Z guide of videos and then the names and addresses of the studios that produced the videos. Great book, easy to read, and I recommend this book for any gay porn lover.
