Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great presentation of hospitality industry at work
Review: Having read the book while taking the class from the author, I feel Alastair did a great job of taking a topic that could be dull and lifeless and putting a little fun in it. It's one of the few text books that has applicable use after the class is over. The topics are well researched and presented in a way to keep you going to the next chapter.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK FOR MARKETING STUDENTS
Review: THE BOOK COMES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: good textbook
Review: This is a good textbook, but it is a textbook nevertheless. It covers all key topics and provides good examples. A good introductory text for someone considering a career in tourism. I'd also recommend Kotler's Hospitality and Tourism and Raza's Heads in Beds.
