Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The "Must Have" Book On Mentoring
Review: If you can afford just one book on mentoring this is the one to
buy. Kathleen Barton shows her readers how to build a powerful
and lasting mentoring network to move their careers forward. I
particularly appreciate the practical aspects of "Connecting
With Success." For example, the section on Finding Mentors & Networking Contacts shows what to look for in a potential mentor, via a mentor assessment worksheet. In addition it
provides some suggested organizations one can get involved in to connect with potential mentors, clients, or employers. Other chapters provide similar helpful tools to greatly assist the reader in the networking process.

As a lifelong networker and mentor I enthusiastically support
the principles shared in this outstanding book. I highly
recommend "Connecting With Success" to anyone desiring to make mentoring and networking an integral part of their lives!
