Summary: What a JOKE
Review: I bought this book to discover funding ideas for a business I was interested in starting. Unfortunately, I did not find the information I was looking for.

This book is not without merit, but it is not the information source its publishers advertise it to be. There is information for civic groups, minorities, economically challenged people, etc. However, there was not very much information for middle class Americans. I felt it would have been more honest to title the book "Government Funding Sources for Minorities, Economically disadvantaged, and State Goverments."

My advice would be to check it out at your public library first. If you find it useful, then buy it. Otherwise, keep looking.

Summary: Government Giveaways by Lesko et al.
Review: This is an excellent book for providing insight into the many
government programs available for Americans. There are a
plethora of grants and loans in real estate alone. The programs
serve mostly the poor and middle class. The challenge is to
identify the government grant and get assistance with writing
a proposal-preferably through a grant writer or someone who
has been successful in securing funds previously. The Title I
fix-up loans are the most popular. Many citizens simply are not

aware of what the government gives away and/or the terms.
This work provides a wealth of data on the subject.
It is highly recommended.
