Rating: Summary: sticking to basics Review: According to Ireland, not much has changed in the resume field. This is good news for those of us who have long preached the two-page maximum, perfectly written, future-oriented document. She takes you through the basics, explaining the different sections and your options in formatting. There is a good, non-intimidating section on e-resumes. The sample resumes are adequate and interesting to read. Ireland has done a fine job on writing a basic guide for the inexperienced or reluctant resume-writer.
Rating: Summary: From amature to professional in one book Review: before I bought this book I had a resume that I had 10% confidence in. Now in 24 short hours I have created a document that I have 110% confidence in. This book is a must have for anyone who wants to improve their resume without paying a professional to do it. Great as a graduation gift. Filled in the gaps where the educational system fell short.
