Rating: Summary: It doesn't get any better than this...oh yes it does! Review: Thanks to up-to-the-minute Internet websites, candidate sourcing information, and the progressive techniques contained in this latest of five editions of CAREERXROADS, we are confident that we will eclipse our average staffing performance metrics achieved over the past 5 years. These metrics (which were primarily attained in pharmaceutical, technology, training services, and staff augmentation environments) include: number-of-hires (75% were from the Internet), time-to-hire (48 days), cost-per-hire ($3,800), and customer satisfaction (89%). Free e-mail updates increase the value of this user-friendly candidate sourcing tool for the successful Internet recruiter.
Rating: Summary: Outdated Review: The information is presented in a very readable and understandable style. If you are searching for expert answers and resources both free and paid are presented here. This is soooooooo good I can not stop reading, searching and refering back to it. If anyone really calls themselves a Professional Recruiter they need to have this book as desk side reference.
Rating: Summary: Great for Jobseekers Review: This book was touted as the best recruiters book, by Joyce Lain Kennedy (employment columinst). That is why I bought it. To my disappointment it was not the best. Internet Recruiting Edge and The Recruiter's Bible have much more information and resources. But this is a good book if you are a jobseeker.
Rating: Summary: A helpful listing Review: While it is not possible to publish a totally updated listing of this type (due to constant turnover), it is nevertheless a helpful listing of many of the major sites used by job seekers and recruiting entities. Put it on your bookshelf.Wayne D. Ford, Ph.D., author, "Breakthrough Technical Recruiting" docwifford@msn.com
