Summary: A tremendous roadmap to getting a job
Review: "How To Find Your Dream Job and Make It a Reality" is a tremendous roadmap to getting your ideal job. Jason does a great job of providing the reader with core information needed to succeed in today's tough job market. As a fellow author on the topic, "10 Insider Secrets to a Winning Job Search: Everything You Need to Get the Job You Want in 24 Hours - Or Less," I can't think of a better complementing resource.

One of the best tools that Jason provides you with are worksheets in the back of the book that you can use to evaluate your job interview performance and summarize the interviews that you have had. People all to often make the mistake of just going on interviews, without taking the time to learn from them. Jason does a great job of showing his readers how to learn from each and every experience and how to apply what is learned to expediting your job search.

I also love Jason's 19 Great Personal Marketing Ideas. The bottom line is in today's economy you have to go out there and market yourself. Jobs won't just fall in your lap. Jason shows you exactly how to get yourself noticed so you will get hired.

This book is a must-read for anyone who is serious about finding a new job.

Summary: Great follow up
Review: I contacted the author, and he made time to discuss my resume and he even gave me a few pointers on my job search. I found his approachability refreshing, and reassuring. I have tried contacting other authors before, but to no avail, they act is if they are too busy for the people paying their bills. Not this guy, he is great, and straightforward about what I need to do with my career.

I would invest in this book for two reasons. First, it is well written. Just look at most of the reviews. Second, in his book he gives you an email address to write him at, and I did so I know he will respond to your emails, questions, and provide you with "customer support" at least that's what he called it.

Summary: Buy it now
Review: I looked at this book for weeks before I finally bought it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. One tip in this book that I used that got me a job was to bring your resume and cover letter to the interview. I did, and I got the job. Once I started work my new boss said she gave me the job because she new I was prepared. I also followed one the resume formats found in this book, which I think got me the job. I also used some of the tips on negotiating that got me a better salary than the company was offering. Actually, this book is full of good info and insights.

Yes, some of the stuff in this book is basic, but there is other stuff that is just plain smart and creative. Take it from me a former job seeker this is book deserves to be on your book shelf.

Summary: Excellent and Well-Written Advise
Review: Jason provides both motivational and practical advise on the art of finding a rewarding career. He starts with the necessity of truly understanding yourself and what makes you feel fullfilled. Upon that base he then proceeds with builidng the structure of how to find a job that provides you with the fullfillment you desire. Although some of what is in the book could appear self-evident, it is still a good reinforcement and reality check for even the most sophisticated professional.

Review: This is a wonderful job hunting book. One of the best things about this book is the resume and cover letter grammar guide in the appendix. For me this was the most useful part of the book.

In addition, this book will take you through all of the steps necessary to find your dream job and make it a reality.
