Rating: Summary: This book provides a writing internship experience! Review: Thoroughly entertaining, informative and practical, Jenna Glatzer's latest book is packed with real-life examples of the delights and despairs of many of the most prolific freelance writers at work today. The writer who doesn't benefit from this how-to instruction manual simply isn't trying. Reading to the very end, soaking up sage advice page after page is analogous to the physician completing an internship at a leading teaching hospital. Glatzer's book is chock-full of insider secrets and helpful hints applicable to virtually any genre.
I have only two complaints :
1) the book ended
2) there is no photograph of the lovely author
Get this book now. As soon as the publisher realizes what a gem it really is, they'll triple the price. And it'll still be worth it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent ideas from someone who's done it Review: Writers with a penchant for nonfiction will love this book's many ideas for getting the most out of their...ideas. Jenna gives you steps to see what you have inside you to write, how to nurture it, shape it, change it, take it one step, two steps, three steps further. Filled with plenty of specifics and examples, this book was a quick read and well worth it.
