Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great read about a tough subject
Review: I was unsure about what to expect from this book and I was delighted to discover something wonderful and different. Johnston's diary is very revealing and quite funny at times, and he displays a real knack for making a truly stressful process (the job search) into a really great story. The diary is personal but never sappy, funny but never bitter, and entertaining and helpful throughout. There is some excellent how-to information and suggestions interwoven between the diary entries as well. The book certainly changed my perception of the job market, and I hope there will be more books from Johnston in the future.
