Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Beautiful, but lacks function. Review: I was hoping for a Harry Potter calendar that I can actually use as a calendar. Most of this calendar's space is devoted to the illustrations (which are beautiful). There is almost no room to write anything substantial by the dates. So the calendar is currently hanging in my kitchen as a decoration piece, and I had to buy another wall calendar that I can actually use on a day-to-day basis. All the same, I love Harry Potter and am happy that I own the calendar.

I bought mine at a half price book store and I just couldn't believe the art work in it. I've always enjoyed the pictres Granpre contributes at the beginning of chapters for the books, and these color illustrations are nothing less than phenomenal!
