Summary: The Language of love revealed through Body Language Secrets
Review: Don Steele has written a very concise and readable manual of non-verbal communications, particularly of interest for singles. Many of us "older-but-wiser" types wish we could have read something similar 20 years ago, when the "non-verbal signals of interest" were flying our way, and we sadly missed, ignored, or simply misunderstood what was being said "without words." While unhappily we can't go back and relive our misspent youth, the author gives enough useful information for deciphering the signals of female interest (open posture, sidelong glance, preening, palm showing) that even the densest aspiring Don Juan should be able to figure out whether he is gaining or losing as he seeks to attract a woman's attentions. Similarly, there are chapters for women to gage a man's sincerity (via handshake, noticing exaggerated non-verbal gestures of sincerity or verbal reassurances of honesty).Other aspects of the book concentrate on the evolutionary biology of courtship, and many of the "body language" tips are useful in any type of negotiation, whether in romance or business. The book is well illustrated with photos, is easy to read, and reasonably priced.

Summary: "R2 ,you are playing the wrong message!"
Review: Finally a book with real life examples and not only how to read body language but how to respond to it so you do not present yourself to the person you are attracted to as too aloof ,or worse too interested. The models in the pictures are average people you would meet at the store or work or a friend's party,instead of silly soap opera babes and hunks at a Hard Rock Cafe .This helped me relate to daily exchanges of body language ,that I would have otherwise have been oblivius to other than knowing the general mood of who they were talking to.On that note,the text is easy to read and is not all crammed with fancy words ,yet it is balanced with minimal,useful formulas like "people form 90% of thier opinion in the first 90 seconds" of meeting you.There are even sections on how to dress appropriatley ,if you are a female reader dressing sexy is not be what you might have believed it was.The only thing I would like to see in a later edition is what colliqual expressions people use reveal about them.
What is presented here has universal applications for life on a daily basis or business and are and can be used by either men or women or both .Here's to me ,and hopefully you too, no longer getting duped by flirts,liars,golddiggers,crooked merchants, and players!

Summary: A very useful practical guide
Review: I found this book truly eye-opening. It focused my attention
on the thing I always knew was there but could not pin down.
That little gestures and eye movements matter a lot especially
in a courtship/dating situation. That it is important to learn to
read these signs.One example which already makes the book worth more than its
price. The most common mistake the men make (as I learned)
is to approach the woman who is not interested in you.
Now, to find out if she is interested or not you have to watch her
body language and know how to interpret it. After reading the book (and it should be read very carefully,
several times!) I feel that I have new vision of what is
going on while before I operated in the dark. The author avoids pseudo-scientific jargon making the book
accessible and useful. As I learned, he is a highly
qualified psychoterapist. His no-nonsense approach to
the issues and refusal to bow to the "accepted wisdom"
are great advantages of this book over other body language
books I have seen. I recomend it very highly.

I red this book two years ago and since then used some techniques and suggestions many times. For example I was able to control myself from approaching a long legged busty babe at a party, because her body language was inconsistent with her behavior. How do I know? Read the book! The best benefit is the realization, that at any place and any time you are being watched. You are being watched by the best detective there is- a women. Wrong first impression within 90 seconds and you are HISTORY. Now can you afford this? Here what Steele's book will do for you:
1.You will be able to present yourself in the best possible light without a single word.
2.You will be able to choose the right women from the pack, without risk of rejection.
3.You will be able to feel 100% more confident because you working a PROVEN system of dating. (The author is one of the few who actually practice what he preaches.) By the way, couple of drinks I didn't buy the above babe cost MORE then Don's book! Good deal. Another great book is:" How to Date Young Women for Men over 35 " by the same author. Masterpiece. End of story.

Summary: Useful book in Romance and ANY Relationships
Review: The focus of this excellent book is to learn the signals of body language during courtship and dating. Although written by a man for a man, woman can also learn a couple of lessons if they read it (although, since woman are intuitively familiar with body language, most of them will just be agreeing with what is written). The author knows what he talks about. He tells you the signals to look for which specify interest and also the ones that nonverbally say "stay away". It sure makes it easier to approach a woman knowing if she has an interest in you or not. This book tells you what you need to know. I especially like the frank, honest discussion the author provides. He tells you that a guy needs a lot more than one body language signal, but rather clusters of them. A guy must really be aware of a woman's nonverbal language and sense the multiple signels she gives before approaching her. I'd give this book a huge TWO THUMBS UP along with another book by the author, How To Date Young Woman. Turns out the author helps guys on a free www radio show ... - you can listen beforehand and get a feel for how refreshingly honest this mentor is. ... Review: This book explains that non-verbal communication is crucial in any social situation. If you're single and looking to meet someone at a party say, then these skills can make the difference between success and humiliation. Subtleties like which direction the eyes go after making eye-contact are extremely significant. There are plenty of books on body-language out there, in both popular and academic psychology categories but as far as I know this is the only one which applies it specifically to the subject of courtship and dating. Review: This book is an essential compliment to How To Date Young Women and walks the reader through the primitive fundamentals of body language to the fine details of the signals themselves. It also focuses on clusters of body language as opposed to just zeroing in on one or two things which is a common mistake first time readers of body language make.What makes the illustrations especially potent in here is that the models represent a good cross section of people you see everyday in public.You will save untold time,ego,energy ,and money distinguishing between women who don't give a damn if you drop dead tomorrow and those who genuinely like you,very quickly,and it also clues you in on when to follow up on which signals that the interested woman send you.If you are a woman BLS is just as helpful in distinguishing players,liars from sincere men ,and how to dress to attract the kind of man most women want.Furthermore BLS is great to read to tell who is who in general,not just people you want to be really close to.Unless you are a hermit you need this book.

Review: This book will "open your eyes" to see the wealth of nonverbal information you've been throwing away all of your life when you meet others for the first time and every time after that. The tips for how to SEND nonverbal signals to the subject of interest are especially helpful! Some of the material is repeated from "How to Date young women for men over 35", by the same author, but the books are a perfect complement to each other. A great, quick, easy read. Detecting body language signals is fun to practice and EXTREMELY USEFUL to understand in dating, business, and, my favorite, POKER!

Review: This is an excellent book that gives the reader a complete course on translating body language signals, with specific reference to male/female interaction. Men who use this material exactly as described in the book will be able to know when a woman wants him to approach her and when she wants him to go away. He will also know when to show more interest and when to back off a bit so as not to scare her away. All in all readers who diligently practice this book's principles will find that meeting, dating and mating with the opposite sex will become much less mysterious and more logical than ever before. Buy the book, read it several times, watch for clusters of body language signals and you will always know what she is thinking!
