Summary: Plethora Of Fun That's Fits In The Pocket
Review: A friend visiting me in Bangkok showed this to me and I checked it out to see how current it is, being a resident (former, current, and future) of the town we call Bangers. Long-termers refer to the city as "Bangkok" (with the accent on the 'kok' for people who've lived here a while who come from the UK or OZ, or a Yank who's a little cultured in expat arenas). It's kinda like never callin' San Francisco "frisco" or Los Angeles "LA." It's small and fits in yer pocket. As for the map, it provides easy-to-read points, and leads the curiosity seeker to venture into the most cultural appealing, funnest, and most vibrant places in the most accessible way. It's a guide to the real Bangkok, which is a cosmopolitan city that offers something for everyone from everywhere. After a coupla days you won't need it anymore, so give it to yer pal, fellow traveler, or bored friend in the West when he finally makes it over.

Review: Been to Thailand for 2 months just got back from a fabulous trip and came across this map by Groovy Map. Its small and easily fits in your back pocket so you can take it places. Used mine til it wore out and had to borrow one from another guy who also bought it. Its pretty good and gives alot of short, to the point sort of reviews on stuff. Thanks. Ilan

Review: Great map, easy to read. Laminated edition is a must have as the non laminated one tends to tear easily. It is a little large for use out on the streets, unless you don't mind looking like a typical tourist. Probably the best of the map series out there.

Review: i am from ireland and had never been abroad so i got this book before i went to bangkok just to prepare myself for it and to make sure i knew what to do seeing as i would never get the opportunity again.i found this book to be amazingly informative, not just the regular tourist things but behind the scenes stuff.stuff your average tourist wouldn't even know was there. when i finally went i took the advice in the book as did my family and we all decided that the holiday wouldn't of been half as exciting if we just shopped,slept etc. we got to see the real bankok which i think wouldn't of happened if i hadn't gotten the book!!!!! thanks for listening. slan abhaile paula

Review: I LIVE in Bangkok and bought this map from a local newsagent. A MUST BUY for visitors to my country: WHAT DO YOU DO after you've done the klong tour, the temple tour, seen the Thai dancers? Spending the night wandering about your hotel is a BORE. This guide tells you how to HAVE FUN after hours as well, giving information for ALL tastes, budgets and proclivities. Want an interesting meal? Like a gay bar? Information is also provided on ANY questions tourists have, whether it is currency exchanges or medical care. For those who want to save some $$ and see the city from the ground level, the public transport is clearly shown and easy to follow: why pay for a hotel limo when it is FASTER and CHEAPER to take the sky train? The producers of this map also have a website where readers can give their own opinions of the recommended pubs, restaurants, etc. If the chef has quit and the food is now terrible, the authors WANT TO KNOW! They take no money from any recommended place, either, so the information is TOTALLY objective ! If you are planning to visit Bangkok, BUY THIS MAP !

Summary: good night time intro to the city!
Review: If you're unsure of what to do in bangkok after dark this is a great intro to a few of the best picks in the city of angels. Something in it for almost everyone, from the clubbing scene and bar scene to night time shopping for the shopaholics among us. I appreacited the tongue in cheek commentary. bangkok is one of those huge sprawling cities like LA so a compact top ten stuff to do at night is a pretty goood way to ease you into what can be an intimidating destination.

providing maps to the best sights including the types of transportation available. Great pointers provided to enjoy the
Thai culture and people. Fits perfectly in your purse or pocket!Don't leave without it!!!
