Summary: Magnifico!
Review: Excellent resourses for easily learning Spanish through colorful illistrations. Toddlers and older kids can benefit greatly from this book. As far as bilingual books go, this one and Drum, Chavi, Drum!/Toca, Chavi, Toca! are the ones that my children love most. When kids love a book and can't put it down, that's a great sign that they will learn Spanish.

Summary: For adults also
Review: I love this book! I got this book for my 2 year-old, but I find that I am using it myself. I wish I had this book when I was learning Spanish prior to my living in Mexico. I am a visual person and this type of book is perfect for learning vocabulary. I am buying this book for my 13 year-old nephew for his Spanish class.

Summary: Excellent Resource for ALL Ages!
Review: I used this book to help my daughter learn a multitude of words in English and ASL signs when she was *very* young. Now that she's a preschooler, we're looking at it again from the Spanish perspective. And even though I am fluent in Spanish, I learned a *lot* of very specific vocaublary from this book (the names of all different kinds of vehicles and tools, for instance). I would recommend this book not only for parents of very young children, but also for students of the Spanish language of *any* age, as a vocabulary builder. If I were teaching a high school language class, I would want to copy pages out of this book, blank out the names, and challenge students to label each picture. What a great resource!!

Summary: My First Spanish Word Boox
Review: I was simply amazed at how well this book was done. Each word is depicted using a high-quality, colorful, and eye catching photo and is captioned in both Spanish and English. This book is excellent for very young children (and children and adults of all ages) who are learning English and/or Spanish. It covers everything from parts of the body, to actions (dancing, etc.), to everyday household things. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: Great book for toddlers
Review: This book has been my 2 year old daughter's favorite book for the last six months. The pictures are engaging, and grouped in categories that make sense.

She's spent hours reviewing this large, well-made book. She's progressed from being able to point to photos of things when asked, to saying the names of them herself, or asking what the photo is. I've learned a lot of Spanish as well.

Summary: beautiful book
Review: This book has high-quality photos of each word. Unlike other bilingual books, the pictures are actual photos instead of drawn. Much easier for my child to "get it". The English/Spanish are included next to each picture. Highly recommended!

Summary: My first Spanish Word Book- Terrific!
Review: This book has really been a great teaching tool for my 2 year old. It is not just an introduction to Spanish words, but is great for just learning to recognize all kinds of new and everyday objects. We have been using this book since my son was one and at first he would just point to the different objects and name them in English he is just now beginning to recognize and say some of the Spanish words. The pictures in the book are bright and interesting, each page is packed full. The pictures are photographs not cartoons which make the objects easier for children to recognize. We love it.
