Summary: A gorgeous, informative book but not applicable to my zone.
Review: This is such a wonderful, beautiful book. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't apply much because of my hardiness zone. I live in Zone 6 (7 if I stretch it) and I know there are a number of plants that can help me achieve "the tropical look" because I am doing it. If only the author had taken it a step further and included more of the plants that I know are out there, just beyond my reach!

Review: When I first held this masterpiece in my hands I couldn't stop flipping page after page. First of all, there's over 400 pictures on about 500 pages so most of the beautiful tropical palnts are represented with a great high quality picture. The descriptions are very valuable not only for identification but also for choosing the right plant for the right spot and to ever expand your collection of tropical plants. After all, at the current price this book is one great deal!
