Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Needs improvement
Review: The Treasury Enforcement Agent Exam book is not a bad start, but by no means a great start. I took the exam shortly after reading the book, and discovered that the questions were much more difficult on the actual test. Still, I was better prepared than if I had not read the book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: waste of time
Review: This book is a complete waste of time and is nothing like the actual test.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Gives you a start
Review: This book is to simple for the real TEA exam. If you are going to get a book to study get the ARCO Special Agent book. The questions in the ARCO book are more complex and do a better job of preparing you for the test. I just got done taking the test, and if I hadn't had the ARCO book I most probably would have failed the test. I gave it 2 stars because it does give you an idea and a start, but please don't waste your time with this book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: too simple
Review: this book is too simple, nothing like what the actual exam will be like, especially the Math section.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A first step guide to getting to know the TEA exam
Review: This exam aid is a definite help if you are going to take the TEA exam. Though, as the previous reviewer said, the math is fairly simple as compared to the actual exam. It's a good start but it is highly advised that the reader look into more complex linear equations. This book is a good start for anyone who doesn't know any background on any of the Treasury Bureau's.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It may be the best (or only) study aid--but don't trust it!
Review: This may be the best (or even the only) collection of practice tests for the Treasury Agent Enforcement Exam. But don't trust it, especially if you are applying for Secret Service. The actual test is much more difficult then these deceptively easy practice tests. Beware of the Math section particularly; this book contains very basic arithmetic and algebra, which may lead you to expect the same on the real test. But the actual test is more complex.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Caution: This book will not help you
Review: This prep book will not prepare you for the TEA Exam. It is nothing like the exam. All practice sections are extremely weak. Especially the math section. This book will give you a false sense of confidence about the TEA Exam. I have taken the TEA and this book is a waste of time and money.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: It gives an idea
Review: This study guide gives an idea of the type of questions that are on the TEA exam, but it does not give an accurate picture of the difficulty of the questions on the exam. This study guide makes you think that you are ready for the exam when you are not. I recommend getting ARCO's Special Agent Deputy U.S. Marshall study guide.

Summary: Good Luck
Review: This study guide is helpful for one out of three sections of the TEA, the Investigative section. It is helpful in preparing you for general ideas on the test, but when it comes to the test, the questions are different and more difficult!
