Review: For many year we have used this practice book with our students and most - if not all - of them liked it and had fun with grammar. Results improved dramatically and the teachers could sit back and relax. Not only do the comprehensive explanations shed some more light into many students' darkness of English Grammar but students welcome the variety of graded exercises that really give them a chance to progress steadily. Good book for all EFL/ESL students, no matter what their national background is.

Review: I came across this book a year ago and it was a revelation for me. I have never seen such a well designed book in any knowledge field and as a foreign student in English, I can tell I have learnt and understood a lot of grammar rules. I advise anyone to own this book because it is the "key" to succeed in understanding English grammar. Many many thanks to the author.

Review: I have recommended this book to many of my students and friends. Really excellent! I just wonder whether the improvements made in relation to the previous edition(s) justify such a large increase in the price of the book, taking into account the success it's making.

Review: I have seen many language books, but this one is the best. It's a British publication, but that is not a problem for me, being an American. Extremely well structured with great vocabulary and expressions -- all students seem to like and understand the examples and exercises. Every ESL teacher should have this book for grammar. It covers just about everything and handles the quirks of English thoroughly.
