Summary: Best for Lower Level ISEE Preparation
Review: My daughter used the previous edition prior to taking the lower level ISEE exam. It was the best of the other versions in terms of its study guide content and unit approach for math and vocabulary building and tailorability for lower level. Kaplan's was slightly better for the essay writing tips. But start early. This will take quite a few weekends to get through.

Summary: very good prep book
Review: this book is one of the best ssat prep books i have ever used. i took a practice ssat without any previous preparation and i did fairly well, but not well enough to get into my choice high schools. after i used this book and took the ssat for real, it raised by score into the 99th percentile. i have not received my high school letters yet, but i am almost 100 percent sure that i made it into my favorite high school.
