Summary: Listen to this over and over
Review: I first heard this delivery when I was a kid in the 60's when my father managed a team of salesmen. The 33LP was played several times but of course I was too young to pay any attention. I purchased this CD recently and am amazed how much of an impact it had on me, not only to recollect my early years but also the powerful and dynamic message it contains. Now armed with advanced degrees in social sciences and versed somewhat in William James (quoted by Earl), I can attest to the validity of the message. What is as interesting is the fact that this recording DID mark the start of the the "self-improvement" bonanza that followed. "Gurus" such as Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy no doubt relied heavily on Mr. Nightingale's message. Listen to this over and over! Only negative is that I can't believe with our technology we couldn't filter some of the the scratchiness of the background....otherwise, enjoy!!!

Summary: Thank you Earl, for the "T H I N K" wake up call
Review: I saw the video of the strangest secret yesterday at a job training, and I have to say,my life is changed forever. This expert with a heighted level of knowledge was almost like a gift from God. Why so dramatic, because I would still be traditionally conformed like 98 out of 100 people out there. I am NO LONGER going to allow this to E V E R happen to me again.
If you truly want to be successful in anything, this is an absolute must have. Knowing what I know now, this book is priceless. If it sold for 1,000.00 +, I can GUARANTEE to you, it's worth every red cent.

Review: I viewed Earls' famous video "The Strangest Secret" almost two years ago now in a sales training class and I have never been able to get it out of my head. I have read many self-help books and have an incredible library of audio tape programs as well, but the message had never come to me as clear as it had that day. Thank You Earl! You have positively changed my life forever! Now, where can I find a used copy of this videotape?

Review: in 1956. I have enjoyed and used its message so much that I own not only the modern versions of it, but an old 33 1/3 wax LP. This is not a particularly long recording, in fact, you can hear in in about 30 minutes. But it can take repeated reading/listening to get the totality of the message.Earl Nightingale spent years researching what every wise man, woman, sage, teacher, philosopher, and guru ever wrote or spoke regarding the conduct of life. The result? The one thread that ties together these oftentimes divergent voices over many different times and places. The "secret" reveals the one thing upon which these people were in total agreement. It is the essence of life-a truism that surpasses all others in its importance and ultimate truth. I won't divulge it here, because it is something that every man and woman should uncover for themselves. But I can say from quite personal experience that once you hear or read it for yourself, you will never be the same again.
