Rating: Summary: The book you want to go through before the test. Review: This is definitely the book all TOEFL test takers need to go through before the test to be familiar with the type of questions you will see in the actual exam. This book tells you the direction to prepare for the exam to get a high score. As today's TOEFL is computer based attached CD-ROM is very helpful to get used to the style of the actual CBT TOEFL. Although this book itself is a great preparation book for TOEFL, for higher scores test takers want to have a strong English language background together with the specific test taking skills presented in this book. Frequently asked English idioms in TOEFL are nicely summarized in a concise book, "Handy Book Of Commonly Used American Idioms, Revised" and I found it very helpful even in listening comprehension section. The test taking skills from "TOEFL Test Preparation Kit" and idiomatic knowledge from "Handy Book Of Commonly Used American Idioms, Revised" provide the most efficient way to get high score in TOEFL.
