Summary: The best way to get a clean English !
Review: Are you Korean or Japanese?......... Actually you have been want standard and useful English but I`m sure you didn`t find a proper grammar book for intermediate or advanced level. Even though you found a grammar books that were written in Korean or Japanese.One of great merits of this book is written in English and is very easy to read. That will be very helpful to use English in daily life and you will be free from a lot of stresses of English. When I was in Canada, many teachers and Canadian friends recommended this book for easy and clean English. Finally, layouts of this book are so good your eyes will not be tired! Ilove this book.

Summary: My Wonderfull Book
Review: Even thought, this has been my second grammar book, it has been helpful in many ways. But most of all with verb tenses. Since, I am not a native English Speaker, I keep it with me every time. It explain verb tenses perfectly. No other book, in 1 1/2 year studying English, has been so explicit. Now, I am buying another for my nephew. He studies ESOL, but he is not using this book. He feels he need more explanation. He likes the practices in this book; they are very complete and enough. When one finish doing those practices, one really now how to apply any rule in ones life, and the next step is practice talking.

Summary: Simple, clear explanations, examples, and practice!
Review: I am a professional ESL teacher and this book is probably the most popular one with both the students and the teachers. The grammar points are divided up very well and there are good explanations and examples for most points.The reason this book is so popular is that the exercises are very simple, something like this: The children (is/are) playing in the yard right now. You simply have to choose the right answer from the two. This simplified approach makes learning grammar very easy, but many students want something more difficult and some complain that the book is a little boring. But when has grammar ever been exciting?

Summary: My first grammar book
Review: I am an educationist from Malaysia. I would like to share with you my experience in using this book. My first ever contact with this book was when I was doing my English intensive preparatory course in the College of Preparatory Studies in Shah Alam Malaysia. The book was our grammar textbook for the whole six month we were there. It was given to us FOC by our sponsor, The Public Services Department. I felt that I really improved my knowledge on English grammar then. Thank you Azar for giving us this excellent book. Now that I am an English, I am using this book as a textbook, too. I hope my students will gain a lot from it and improve their grammar as well.

Summary: The best ESL book you can't miss
Review: I bought this book when I was an ESL student in U of T. The book did the great job to help me understand tons of subtle grammer problems. The sentences in the book are very useful and you can almost hear every where in daily life. I use them all the time when I talk to my classmates and co-workers.Whenever I have questions on English I always consult it first.

Summary: The very best guide for English Grammar
Review: I definitely wouldn't change these workbooks (A and B) for other Advanced English Grammar Workbooks. If you want to master Grammar in order to top a TOEFL or TESL exam, I really recommend it. The examples are extremely easy to follow. The only problem is that I prefer a one-workbook system. Anyway, my five stars go to Betty Azar's Grammar Book.

Review: I didn't know that this grammar book is composed of volume A and Volume B. After I recieved this book, I realized that. But I guess there is combinated one. Also, you can buy combination with work book less than regular price. Be careful, when you buy this book, make sure if you need just Volume B.
