Summary: Thank you Professor Dave!
Review: Taking the LSAT was a breeze, with Professor Dave's LSAT Advantage. This book gave me a clear understanding of the flow of the test, the types of questions that would be asked, but most importantly, the STRATEGY to use in answering the questions. The practice tests and questions paralleled the LSAT in an uncanny way. I used only Professor Dave's book, and read through it only once, and got a full 5 points higher than my goal!! Thank you Professor Dave!

Summary: Thanks Professor Dave!!
Review: The LSAT Advantage allowed me to prepare successfully for the LSAT. This book was my primary source for studying for the LSAT and it proved its worth. The format of the book allowed me to digest the complex LSAT material in a manner that was agreeable to my schedule and strengths. I was able to work at my own pace and focus on the elements of the test that I felt I needed extra work on. Thanks to Professor Dave's strategies I scored 22/25 on the Logical Reasoning. The practice problems and explanations proved to be very valuable. Overall, the book and CD-Rom created a comfortable setting to prepare for the LSAT. The supplemental chapters on Law School and the application process in general provided a valuable "big picture" to the entire Law School preparation. Thanks again Dave!

Summary: The best LSAT review book around!
Review: The LSAT Advantage by Professor Dave Scalise is truly a superior book. It puts the competition with their banks of questions and dry explanations to shame. After purchasing several tedious LSAT test prep books, I came upon The LSAT Advantage by chance; the cover appealed to me. Between the covers is the most extraodinary test preparation program! It actually simulates a course in LSAT preparation and does so in an engaging, lighthearted manner. But the subject matter, especially the tough analytical reasoning section, is presented in a serious and systematic fashion, in a way that I was finally able to master the material. My highest recommendation to anyone preparing for the LSAT. This is the only book you'll need.

Summary: 15 Point Gain
Review: THE LSAT Advantage helped me in numerous ways... The "Logical Reasoning" materials were most helpful for me. The detailed strategies, helpful exercises, and numerous practice sets allowed me to fully understand these questions; which are important because "Logical Reasoning" is half the test. Also, the "Reading Comprehension" section provided me with the material and instruction/strategy to tackle these tedious passages. In addition to this, the "Logic Games" section of the book helped map out multiple approaches to each type of game. The LSAT Advantage. It helped ME a ton (rasied my score 15 points), and made me feel very comfortable on test day.

Summary: The materials matched the exam perfectly
Review: This book has a comfortable, casual style despite the strong academic aproach to the exam.
The tips for the Reading Comprehention section were most helpful to me because I was having trouble finishing thre section.
I had looked at several other books my friends were carrying around, and none compares to The LSAT Advantage.

Summary: THE BEST LSAT REVIEW BOOK!!!
Review: This is by far the best LSAT Preparation book! I found it not only extremely helpful, but also motivating. I found myself gain confidence by going over all of the material in the book and found the material to be similar to what you encounter on the actual test. The preview test, practice sets, exercises and the full-length practice sets were excellent along with the detailed strategies for each section. You see yourself doing better with more practice. The logical reasoning sections in the book are broken down well by topics allowing you to work separately on main question types. You are able to identify the questions and get through the section faster. The reading comprehension section of the book teaches you how to pace yourself, as well as, encourages you on how to read the passages so that on the day of the test your are able to finish all four passages along with the questions. As for the analytical reasoning section of the book, it is divided into three areas giving you strategies on how to tackle the different types of problems. I found the analytical reasoning section to be very clear and concise, and in fact it is the section I scored the highest in on the LSAT. The CD also was helpful with various tips. I would highly encourage anyone preparing for the LSAT to use this book for review as it is an excellent guide to getting a higher score.

Summary: The only prep book you really need!
Review: This is by far the best prep book I have worked with. In fact, had I discovered it earlier, I could have saved myself hundreds of dollars from buying useless prep books and taking a prep course. I highly recommend this book to all potential LSAT test takers. Add this book w/some LSAT Prep Tests and you're set to go. Thank you Professor Dave for such a well written and easily understood explanation of all sections of the LSAT! Your students on the west coast are mighty lucky!!

Summary: The best LSAT book!
Review: This is the absolute best LSAT book around! The book has useful strategies and questions that seem to match the LSAT exactly. The other LSAT books I checked out pale in comparison because they seem to have no plan and are just an overwhelming amount of material. Professor Dave has taken the time to design a program that works and he's added a bonus CD-ROM that has an overview of the law school experience. I give the LSAT Advantage the highest recommendation!
