Summary: The Depths of a Shakespearean Novel
Review: Shakespeare Made Easy is a delightful and fun way to get more people interested in the greatest writer that ever lived. Hopefully these books will attract more fans as they did me. MacBeth is a truly nightmarish and spooky play, filled with revenge, adventure, guilt and redemption. My favorite scene is the one in which Lady MacDuff and her son are attacked by the Murderers, immediately after a heartbreaking conversation together. The contrast of motherly love followed by brutal murder is at once horrible and fascinating. The Roman Polanski film is especially noteworthy.

Summary: Shakespeare's Best Tradegy (made easy)
Review: This book has to be my favorite. I love shakespeare and have read close to everything except King Lear. And from all my experience in reading shakespeare MACBETH has to be my most favored except for the Taming of the Shrew. How they show Macbeth as a coward at parts and Lady Macbeth stronger is one Libral thing you will not find in old english. This book is perfect for young readers because they can understand it in the Modern English sides so everyone can enjoy the great tales to know and learn.

Summary: Nice translation of Macbeth
Review: This book is a nice translation from Shakespeare's language in Macbeth to the modern easy to read language of today. As a student myself, I recommend this book to other students studying Macbeth, if they feel they do not understand exact phrases from the play. If you are already good at 'translating' the lines from the play i do not recommend this book as strongly...... but still........ it helped me a great deal with my assignments.

Summary: I would say that this book was fair, not foul
Review: This book was amazing when one considers the fact that Shakespear put this play on for King James. I am surprised that James was not mad after hearing all of the good qualities that he doesn't have that Shakespear thinks a king should have.

Summary: A "Dummy's" Dream!
Review: This is a fantastic book for someone who has difficulty understanding Shakespeare's language. I was impressed with the way the book is set up--original Shakespeare on the left and a modern translation on the right.

It is especially useful to teachers or homeschoolers because of the study questions included in the back of the book.

I give it an A+!

Summary: Yucketh
Review: This version is horrible. I was looking for one of those Shakespeare versions that footnoted the words and phrases you didn't understand, so you could piece together the meaning yourself. Instead, this version gives you very a very simplistic interpretation of the text, every step of the way. I wouldn't recommend this edition to anyone.

Summary: The Original
Review: This was one of the greatest in all times. At first I was not very interested in the play nor book but once I got a touch of it, it over took my mind, heart, body, and whole.
