Summary: The best study guide published for Romeo and Juliet
Review: The most helpful book for students in high school and college who want to understand Romeo and Juliet. A great help for taking part in class discussions, passing tests and writing papers. Easily outshines the competition because it is easier to use and understand. A great reference for both ordinary people and scholars.

Summary: One of the best books ever!
Review: This book was so wonderful! Shakespeare is the man. This story touched me very deeply. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book. I have read this book a thousand times and it's always as good as the first time that I read it. And if you do like this I would recommend Westside Story. It's great!

Summary: It's Romeo and Juliet. Need I say more?
Review: Romeo and Juliet is, without a doubt, one of the best literary works that I have ever read! You can just read it over, and over, and over. It's love-drenched story just makes you want to sob... and may I also recommend the movie! (1996 Version)

Summary: Love and death not come so soon
Review: This is a story of two young people who were in love but were from two different houses that their parents were enemies. I will not give the end away but it is sad. I think the story is good and you should read it It is from ages 12-and up.

Summary: This is a romance story that teens world wide can relate to
Review: This book is about two teens, (Romeo & Juliet), that fall madly in love with each other. They get married without their parents consent. If their parents would have known about the marriage it would not have happened, because they are involved in a never ending feud. A feudbetween the Capulets (Juliet's family) and the Montegues (Romeo's family). The only two people that knew about their marriage was the Friar and Juliet's nurse. This story still relates to teens (and older people, as well) today because the story deals with universal themes. Themes such as love, drugs, death, hate, and betrayal. These themes reoccur a lot throughout the story. Like most of the other reviewers, I had to read this story for my English class. I enjoyed it a lot more once I got past the language barrier.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Descent but far from his best play
Review: I'm sorry, but I really don't find why this book is considered one of Shakesperre's best. I hate the character of Romeo personally. It is a bit soap operish. If you're looking for a true work of his read MacBeth or Hamlet. This is far far far from his best.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: fairly descent
Review: well written. hamlet was better
