Summary: 3 E's and an R!
Review: Excellent Economical, Educational Resource. I was searching for an atlas to recommend to my geography class, and this is it! Not only are there the typical topigraphical and political maps, but the additional maps on land usage, population, etc. are especially valuable, and not seen in very many atlases. My only criticism is that the "extra" maps are rather small, and are for each continent rather than each country. However, for the price, it's a great value [...]

Review: Excellent Economical, Educational Resource. I was searching for an atlas to recommend to my geography class, and this is it! Not only are there the typical topigraphical and political maps, but the additional maps on land usage, population, etc. are especially valuable, and not seen in very many atlases. Review: I think this atlas is wonderful. First, the atlas is 8 by 11.5 inches. This means that the atlas easily fits into binder pockets, folders, brief cases, and back packs. When I went to the bookstore, it seemed like most of the other atlases were larger than this one and therefore inconvenient to carry around. Another great thing about this atlas is its index. The index is easy to use and therefore makes finding landmarks a simple task. The maps found within the book are clear. However it does take a little time to get adjusted to the presentation of the maps. The best thing about this atlas is that it is cheap! If you are using an atlas for a course in school, you don't want to break your bank acount. The atlas also has useful facts listed in its inside covers. For example, the Earth's dimensions and longest rivers are given. I highly recommend this atlas.
