Review: After reviewing several medical school admissions books for premedical students, I would have to rate this one among the best. In addition to the regular topics such as premedical education, choosing the best colleges, the MCAT, medical school interviews, finances, etc., Dr. Goliszek's book also includes inside information other books omit and a wealth of resources that students can refer to again and again for advice that will make them much better applicants. Highly recommended.

Review: Exactly as I say in the title. And the medical school process is a lot more competitive than he makes it seem in the book. The part about the schools is a little outdated.

Review: I found this book to be very useful, especially the areas dealing with coursework and activities important in helping you get admitted. Dr. Goliszek's book is making its rounds at school. I've gone through other medical school books, but this one seems to have everything I need.

Review: I thought it was a decent book, it offers alot of the basic information that someone would need to know when applying. I was looking for some more "insider secrets", but it really didn't have a ton of them.

Review: Of all the medical school admission books I've seen, this one seems to have everything you need to guide you through the entire process from begining to end. There are great chapters on the admissions process, the MCAT, and especially on the kinds of extracurricular activities you need to make you a better candidate than other applicants. After reading Dr. Goliszek's book, I felt as though I had an advantage over my classmates.

It gives different perspectives on how to choose the RIGHT medical schools, WHAT the medical schools want and dont' want...if YOU are making the right decision. I will recommend this book to anyone who is serious about getting into medical school. I think it is the ONLY book you need to get the WHOLE pic about the medical application process.
