Rating: Summary: review of the Element Encyclopedia of 5000 spells Review: This book offers spells from the mundane to the very complex however, there are spells that as a practing pagan that i would not reccomend. It is the most thorough book that i have ever seen It is well worth the 27.00 price.
Rating: Summary: Impressive collection Review: This collection is more than just spells--there is also an extensive formulary, and the whole collection is a huge array of spells from all traditions, including Demotic Greek (that's DEMOTIC, not demonic for the nervous readers--look it up in the dictionary). If you only ever have one spell book, this is the one. If you have a thousand spell books, you'll still want this one
Rating: Summary: Wonderful and intelligent! Review: This encyclopedia has really impressed me! It's a far cry from lots of other spellbooks that come off as unreliable or just plain hokey. Ms. Illes has definitely done her research correctly, which shows especially in the introductory parts about the "science" of magic, ritual items, the history of magic, and so on. If you're looking for a good general spellbook with samplings of varied traditions and methods of magic, this is probably the one for you. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: A MUST have! Review: This is really a wonderful book. Full of spells and insight. Judika is a gifted reseacher, and has filled her book with great information. It is almost like a history of wichcraft, with spells and tips from around the world.Enjoy & Blessed Be!
