Summary: Audio version availability
Review: Working with a visually handicapped university student in need of an audio version of this book. Have already tried the reader service that provides most of her texts; not available through them. Would appreciate any information you might have. Thanks

Summary: It's practical and funny, not just another copyediting book.
Review: You can find lots of books about grammar, style, and manuscript markup, but that knowledge alone isn't enough to succeed as an editor. I wrote this book to address the real-world decisions editors face. This is the book I would have liked to have read when I was starting out as an editor 20+ years ago. From the letters and email I've received since its publication, I see that many writers and editors have shared similar challenges and experiences.

I also tried to make the book fun to read, because most of what technical editors read on the job is dull. (That's why they pay us to read it.)
