Summary: Great.
Review: I am a high school who has been using these techniques for the last half of the last school year. I used to have a good memory before I started this, but the techniques made everything so much easier. I used to study just like everyone else using repetition to reinforce material. My cumulative avg was an A- in all advanced classes and one AP class with like 1/5 the time everyone else put into it. It really cuts your work by 80%, if everyone read this they would all get straight A's

Summary: On the very short list of absolute MUST READ books!!
Review: Harry Lorayne, a master magician and card entertainer, is also one of the world's leading memory experts. "The Memory Book" will change your life, literally. In the book, Lorayne describes in detail several memory techniques that, with a little practice, will have you remembering virtually anything you want. Among the techniques, the three I use the most are the Link, Substitute Words, and the Peg. The Link is used to remember any number of items, such as 20 objects, etc. The Peg is used to remember any number of objects in order. Using a phonetic type alphabet for numbers, that is, assigning a consonant sound for each number, Lorayne shows how to memorize numbers easily. The techniques really do work. Frankly, I've never spent so little for something that has changed my life so much. One testimonial is in order: I am a professional teacher. The first day of class I use one of Lorayne's techniques in my class that allows everyone in the classroom, including me, to remember the name of everyone else in the classroom. And it takes less than 20 minutes. The systems work. The only minor quibble I have with the book is that after reading this book, I also read widely in the area of memory improvement. Other books have used the identical techniques to improve memory, so I'm confused as to how much of Lorayne's techniques originated with him, or were borrowed from the literature. This minor point aside, you really do need to have this book on your "READ" list. A real treasure.

Summary: The best book on memory.
Review: From long lists, to numbers, to school, you will be able to remember it. The book begins with a simple method for memorizing a list of items. Forget all those programs that cost tons of money, they're designed to rip you off, buy this for a better value, it really delivers. After you read it you will be able to remember anything and your life will change, nuff said.

Review: Iam a 15yr.old gifted student with a 150 I.Q,who before reading this book already had great memory with about 85-90% recall ability, but now my recall ability is 99-100%+ if not photographic. This is a book that would make even average student's shine in the class ,if not raise their I.Q'S. -HASANI CARTER

P.S:This is also a book that is recommended by the MENSA SOCIETY.

Summary: Fun
Review: I kept an A average in Arabic, in college, in an 8 credit hour class to 5th year language level, throughout. I worked full time and did college full time. I memorized my notes and notes from readings before midterms and finals, and had a 3.5 in my last 2 years at the University of Michigan. The "meat" of this book is about 20 pages long, the rest is application. I learned the method in an all-nighter in which I also caught up from being 4 units behind.

I was really glad to have found this book, and would not have made it through college without it.

Review: I am in the sixth grade and used to struggle with a list over ten things. Now my clssmates are amazed at the information and speed I can memorise things. Just two days ago I memorised, in amazing detail, our entire geography lessen by using these techniques. My spelling grades have gone from a struggling low A to an easy top marks A. Thank you Mr. Lorayne and Mr. Lucas. You guys saved my life!

Summary: The Most Important Book You'll Ever Read!!!!!!!
Review: I am currently a senior in high school who has been using the techniques in this book since the 8th grade. I can memorize a list of 100+ items in about five minutes! I used to have the worse memory but now my head is like a mental file cabinet. I excel in all areas involving memory. This book should be required reading for all students because the methods guarantee excellent grades and quite frankly, a better life.

Summary: Excellent book!!!
Review: It is a very common problem on this kind of books to start reading and soonly get discouraged due to impossible-to-apply techniques. This is the first publication I see that lets you use the information right away, and to check the awesome results from the very beginning! For example: it shows you how to remember any sequence of objects, despite its length, with a very easy to grasp method! I would like to recomend this book to anyone interested in memory improvement.

Summary: Forget the $100+ programs on TV; just get this book.
Review: I'm a science major and my study time has been reduced nearly 75%, my GPA is 3.8 and it's all thanks to the systems taught in this book. The techniques work. Those memory systems advertised on TV and radio are just variations of this exact program. Don't buy them. Save your money, and get the same (if not better) results with this book.
