Review: This book gave me a lot of information on illnesses and such. They list the cause(s), symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, and preventions. I think this book should be owned be all families. It's a great reference and is simple to read!

Review: We published Mayo Clinic Family Health Book for one reason -- because we want to help people live healthier lives. While my name appears on the cover of the book as the editor-in-chief, the author is Mayo Clinic. More than 400 Mayo physicians and other Mayo health professionals contributed to this book. This is the Second Edition of Mayo Clinic Family Health Book. We reviewed every word of the original edition and added a new emphasis on staying well and self-help techniques. We added information and advice about current developments in medicine, nutrition, medications, medical tests, exercise and the healthcare system. Review: What an amazing source of information!! It is a definate must have for new parents. This detailed, yet easy to understand book offers specific chapters by age including newborns. It give prevenative information on health & safety including tooth care, controlling stress and travelng abroad. Of course first aid and diseases and disorders are the bulk of the book. It is well written easy to use and include helpful illustrations and photos. Every household should have one, but certainly families with children, of any age should have this book to refer to.
