Rating: Summary: A Must For The Avid Star Warrior Review: The illustrations are great and the character bios are excellent. This is the best that I've seen regarding backgrounds on all the major and most of the minor characters ever seen in the movies, comics, or novels.
Rating: Summary: Pretty good, but needs updating Review: This a very good source for characters. The only reason I did not give it a five, is because it needs to be updated. A lot of things have happened since '95. If they updated this book I would buy it in a second. Overall, it is a very good book.
Rating: Summary: a great book to add to your collection of staw wars guides. Review: This book has hundreds of characters from the Star Wars universe. It has characters from each of the comic books, books, movies, and spin-offs. It's a definite must-see.
Rating: Summary: I also agree with obselete. Review: This book has some useful references but for the most part it is in dire need of some updating. With the release of the new movies this just doesnt cut it as a reference guide anymore. This is the worst of the essential star wars guides.
Rating: Summary: This Book is the greastest book I have seen for characters. Review: This book is great in every detail from the drawlings and profiles of the most known characters to the least known.
I liked how it gave me describtions of people like Tenel Djo and her daughter Tenel Ka. Also Prince Isolder and his mother. It is really great. The reason I gave it a nine is because it was not like some other books i read concerning
the characters. In the Character book Zuckuus a gand has to breath methane or he will die yet in Star Wars the X-Wing Serious Ooral another gand does not have to breath meathane. This is a good book for any Star Wars lover.

Rating: Summary: EVERYTHING you need to know! Review: This book is great, I mean you finally get to see the characters you read about in books! Tendra wasn't in here, but she is in the planet guide, so that makes up for it. This is definately a must for any fan of any age.
Rating: Summary: This is A Must for Every TRUE Star Wars Fan!!! Review: This book is very good in the sense it has characters from the different types of books. It has characters from the novels, young adult books, and even the comics! This book is extremely
informative, and the one thing that prevented it from getting a 10 is that it needs to be updated. However, don't let that fool you, because this is the greatest book about characters I have ever read!
Rating: Summary: An essential book for all STAR WARS nuts!!! Review: This book tells you everything you wanted to know about any of the characters in the Star Wars universe. A must have for Star Wars collectors and officianados
Rating: Summary: Good, but needs to be updated Review: This book was very interesting and informative, but I wouldn't recamend it to anyone who doesn't already know the expanded universe pretty well. When I first read it two years ago it was the only introduction to the expanded universe I'd had, aside from Junior Jedi Knights and Young Jedi Kinghts, so many parts of it were very confusing. Also it badly needs to be updated, because years have passed in Star Wars time since this book was published and a lot of things have changed. But, in general I really liked this book a lot because it told about my favorite aspect of Star Wars, the characters.
