Review: This little book of facts about the common "gas" is a scientific look at the subject matter, although a gathering of facts about the "funny noise" can indeed be quite amusing. Although some of the information is commonly known, other facts are absolutley astounding. To think that a "poopsie" can travel up to 15 meters and linger in the air for up to 20 minutes is quite mindboggling. Included also are many of the "slang terms" refering to the act of "cutting the cheese".

Already a best-seller in the UK, The Little Book Of Farting may be a "gas" once it catches on in the US. As a novelty item, it is sure to "take off". I can highly recommend this book as an entertaining, even educational collection of facts. The next time somoene cracks a cheap joke about this topic, you'll have some real facts as come-backs.*****
