Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Oh my gosh! This guy is insane! Review: Joe has just played the greatest practical joke ever on the stuffy hiring practices of corporate America. This is no doubt the funniest book I have ever read. I almost wish I was unemployed.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Had me laughing so hard, I cried! Review: Joe's book is a breath of fresh air to all of us tired job hunters. Just when you thought you'd read enough boring cover letter guides, along comes this book which has you laughing until you cry. I couldn't put it down and finished it in one night. Thanks Joe for making us all find laughter even when job hunting
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Save your money.... Review: Not too thrilled with the book, would have rather bought another copy of Lazlo and given it away. Save your money and look else where.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: humor and more Review: One of my marketing students brought this book to my attention. The author succeeds in finding the humor in the difficulties of job hunting during a sluggish economy. But what I was most impressed with is his genuine knowledge of marketing and his willingness to riducule all that he knows. It has now become routine for me to begin each class by reading one of the letters from this book, many of which have set the mood for fantastic discussions and case studies. This should be required reading for all business school grads lacking a creative edge.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Hilarious!! Review: These are the letters that you wish you had the courage to write. The idea of the human resources person opening one of these letters and wondering if it's for real makes it fall off the chair funny. With the illegal activities of the big execs coming to light, this is a most appropriate time for a slap back to corporate America, and this book does just that. Don't miss the marketing plans for Snapple and The GAP - they're hilarious!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Read this book if you want to laugh out loud...a lot!! Review: This book is a rare find. Employed or unemployed, it will make you laugh out loud constantly...then, of course, you will try to tell someone else what was so funny. They will want to read it too. He is crazy funny...DO NOT MISS THIS ONE!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Entertaining from cover to cover! Review: This book really set me off laughing. A great example of making lemonaide from lemons. My favorite letters are the ones where he ads his personal stories. I especially loved the letter to MTV. Can't wait to read the follow up to this this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A total keeper. Review: This is the kind of book that you can read again and again and again. Then put it down for a while. Then pick it up to read again and again and again. The humor really hits the spot.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: it hurts to laugh so hard Review: This was such a great collection: my favorite letters were the one to the company that laid him off, asking for a mailroom job, and the one asking his dad if he can do chores again for $20/wk. Oh-- and the generic fill-in-the-blank cover letter where the companies can supply the criteria they are looking for. The book builds momentum as you go, so the first 20 resumes are just so-so, but once I got to the halfway point I was laughing so hard that I was worried I would damage internal organs. I recommend this for anyone whose been job hunting in the past two years. It's a wasteland out there, and barring any actual response from employers (ha!), this is the only satisfaction to be had.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Made me laugh in a tough job market!! Review: Unemployed and wearing out the soles of your shoes by hitting the pavement, knocking on doors, sending out resumes and the like? This book will brighten your day as you trudge through the task of landing your next career adventure! A quick, fun, joyful and refreshing read while tackling the job market--loved it!
