Review: I bought and read this book when it first came out. I'm a male dancer and have always been interested in becoming a porn star. This book makes it sound very easy and claims to give you step by step instruction on how to become a porn star, but it doesn't. If someone reads this book, it has to be for personal information or curiosity only because if you're hoping to get something out of it to jump start your careers as a porn star, then forget this book! I tried every way mentioned in this book to get in touch with producers, film makers and agents, all the leads and numbers provided in this book were wrong, disconnected or people who calimed to know nothing about this book. I must say this book was very disappointing!

Review: I bought this book from an adult bookstore and it was easy to understand. After a year I had already been in my first porno flick and got paid big bucks. If you want to get paid for making the most satisfying and lustful sex and get paid for it, then don't think about it twice, this book is gonna change your life.

Review: I found this book on The Spark's gift advising website, and purchased it for a friend of mine who is difficult to buy for. He needed a good gag gift, and this was it. I don't know if this book would help you make it big in the adult entertainment industry, because I paid little attention to its content before wrapping it up and putting under the tree. I don't know of anyone who would aspire to be and exotic dancer. However, the book was quite funny, yet not particularly vulgar which was disappointing. In conclusion, this book makes a great gag gift for a hard to buy for friend.

Review: I got it last week just to see if it could be of any use at all. I doubted it, but I am very very satisfied, especially since I just came back from my first job on a real porn shoot today. It has always been my dream to do this kind of work, and I was shocked to be able to do a girl-girl scene JUST TWO DAYS after contacting an agent listed in the book. Tomorrow I do my first guy-girl. Can't wait!!!

The information presented in this book is presented in a very entertaining manner. the interviews made porn stars seem more down-to-earth which me realized that anyone is capable on entering this exciting, erotic professional business. Review: I have been in the adult industry for about 6 years now. I started off stripping in Las Vegas, then moved on to Arizona, where I worked as a stripper and a phone sex operator. I now have my own web site and have made a couple of amateur videos, so this book really appealed to me. Afer reading it, I was amazed at how many of the names I recognized. I was however, disappointed in the reality of the book. Only because these big named producers and agents go for KNOWN actresses the majority of the times. And YES, some of the names and numbers here are outdated!!!!!!!!! I too, read the reviews, which ranged from terrible to great. In my opnion this book is ok, but it lacks a great deal of crucial information for people who want to get into the industry. Instead of bad mouthing the other reviewers, all I'm going to say is read the book and take it for what it's worth. If you get something useful out of it great, if you don't, then sell it here on Amazon and recover some of your loss. As for me, I thought it was better than "get paid for sex", Ana Loria's other book, but it was still not good! Please don't bad mouth me, I'm just stating my opinion.

Summary: WORTHLESS AS A STEP BY STEP GUIDE.
Review: I just finished reading this book and I was totally disappointed. The book makes alot of claims, but can it deliver? My step-sister just told the family that she wants to become a porn star, we have other relatives in the business, so we read this book to try and get a starting point for her. This book is way off to say the least. Some of the interviews are with people that we consider ghosts, some of the so-called up to date numbers are not so up-to date and the step by step guide is not as easy to follow as it sounds. The insight in the adult industry is pretty much accurate in this book, but the book leaves out alot of useful information such as the reality of the business. anyways, I thought this book sucked...............

Review: I read this book out of curiousity. It was interesting reading material, but the so-called up to date information, agent lists and contact information is way off. (I tried contacting some of those numbers and they laughed at me, I told them I got the information from this book and they hung up on me). Yes, the sex industry is booming, but believe me people, there is no shortage of people trying to get in. The talent agents and producers mentioned in this book, give their advise, but you try calling any one of them and you'll quickly learn this book does not help you combat any obstacles!. This step by step guide lacks credibility.
