Summary: A Must Book For Writers
Review: This book gives novice and professional writers all they need to know about writing for 'online' markets. For writers today, that's a plus. It will help writers stay ahead of the competition and point them directly to markets that can expand and build their writing careers. ONLINE MARKETS FOR WRITERS should be a standard buy for writers and placed beside their dictionary, Elements of Style, and Writer's Market. It's a needed and timely book. Congratulations Anthony and Paul for giving savvy writers marketing information they are seeking. I will recommend this book to my students and peers.

Summary: Buy This Book!
Review: This book is a must for anyone who wants to be an online writer. Without a doubt, it is the most comprehensive and authoritative source for online market info. Best of all, it's fun to read--and if you can make HTML coding instructions funny, man you have some career ahead of you. Can't wait for more material from the Tedesco brothers.

Summary: Online Markets for Writers
Review: This book is an excellent resource for writers. It's worth buying just for the chapter on online markets. Two hundred paying markets are profiled in detail, often with helpful comments from other freelancers. The rest of the book, written in a humorous style, provides useful information on copyright and other online writing issues.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This book is extremely helpful for writers. Glad someone finally put something like this together. Thumbs up.

Summary: More hype - save your money
Review: This book is like a long mailing list of online publications. The idea is that you are getting access to markets and contact names that you ordinarily wouldn't be able to. The problem is this: many of the entries are outdated--email addresses to nowhere, email addresses for queries that no one reads, names of editors that have moved on from the publication. You're really better off just finding the publications on the web that you'd like to write for and calling them to find out who you should query. That's all these authors have done here.

Summary: Writing for the Web? You need this book. Really.
Review: This book is to the online writer what Writer's Market is to scribes for print publications: a necessity. I dog-eared several new-to-me markets. I make my living writing, so this is my lifeblood we're talking about. The book is not just about markets. It's loaded with information on how to write for this venue: contracts, querying, style, glossary, and, and . . .much more. The authors made me laugh in the first sentence of the Acknowledgements page--I knew I'd love the rest of the book. And I do.

Summary: If you want to write for on-line markets this book is a must
Review: This book lists on-line markets for freelance writers. What has impressed me most about the book is its excellent follow up. I bought the book in December 2000 and found that several of the markets I wanted to query were defunct. I e-mailed the author and he sent an update to the book, which they will provide quarterly from now on. Anthony is accessible and funny and gives the book a great human touch.

Summary: Become an Internet Writing Amazon (pun intended)
Review: This book may well be the preiminent informational book for Internet Writer Wanna-be's. It is loaded with easy-to-follow chapter-ettes packed with what most writers need to know (and what they don't want to know but need to know) in order to make the grade as writers in this newly expanding, webby world of ours. More importantly, it's funny as heck and the authors (the Farrelly brothers in disguise, perhaps?) obviously know their subject matter (which is certainly concerning). Seriously, folks, this is a great book and I fully expect to be a World Wide Writer and multi-millionnaire by Thursday. Pick it up, read it, write something cool and make some dough. Now, that's the life!

Summary: Excellent Information with Laughs
Review: This is the best book about online writing that I've come across, and a stand out among the crowded field of books on writing in general. Anthony Tedesco and Paul Tedesco are clearly excellent writers, and it shows. They are also pretty funny. It's not often that humor finds its way into a "how to" book, but I found myself laughing time and again while reading *Online Markets for Writers*.

Along with nuts and bolts market information, the authors provide many author "spotlights," where writers who have experience with online publishing share their views. This is invaluable to freelancers, who much prefer practice to theory.

The bulk of the book is a list of over 200 profiles of online markets, which provide all the information anyone will need and then some.

*Online Markets for Writers* is a superior book.
