Review: An excellent resource to get thru the numerous topics covered for the exam. The chapters are well organized and reference each other well. The obvious way to speed thru the exam is to get your hands on a concentrator & practice with labs - but for those of us with a budget (or who work for a company that doesn't purchase demo gear) the books illustrations are detailed & can get you to where you might be able to fake hands on experience. The author kept the chapters short and to the point, the practice exams were ideal for walking into the testing center and passing the exam. Another great certification experience- thanks to this publisher and a talented author.

Review: Dave Minutella does a remarkable job of taking the complex subject of VPNs and making it understandable. His incorporated humor makes his book an enjoyable read. I found his introductory chapter on IPSec especially insightful, and one of the best condensed explanations on IPSec that I've ever read. I read his book directly before taking the test, and found nothing on the exam that was not covered in his book. If you are studying for the Cisco VPN exam, you definitely need Mr. Minutella's book as part of your library!
