Rating: Summary: Has all the answers in a small book. Review: If you want a compact, small CCNA book. Then this is the book for you. If you want to combine it with the Sybex CCNA Study Guide, so much the better. This book is the best!!
Rating: Summary: Lammle is the man! You have to get this book! Review: I passed easily!!! The objectives are clear and concise, and easy to follow. I recommend this book and the CCNA Study Guide, all through Sybex.
Rating: Summary: Lammle The Best Source for getting a CCNA! Review: This book wasn't available when I passed the CCNA test back inMarch. I already owned his original book and his fantastic softwaretest prep. I bought this book anyway! It's a concise and handy reference. His books are soooo much better then the 'official' Cisco classes I took. (In fact I stopped using the Cisco material when I found Todd's orginal Sybex book. I was the first one in my class to pass the CCNA which meant I got a 'A' in the class and didn't have to show up anymore!) If you want to get a CCNA, get hold of any materials by Todd Lammle you can.
Rating: Summary: Very good book Review: not having that much cisco exposure i thought this book was outstandin
Rating: Summary: Just buy the full length study guide. Review: I would not call this a 'condensed' study guide. It has about the same amount of info as the full length study guide, but fewer pages. This results in a 'shorter' book that is harder to read and follow. My advice (having read 3 CCNA study guides) is to just buy the full length study guide and skip this 'condensed' guide. You will find the same amount of info in the full length guide, and it will be easier to read and understand. Basically, too much info is packed into many short sections which results in difficult reading. Just buy the full length guide, it will be less of a headache.
Rating: Summary: Buy the full book. Review: This "cheat sheet" was a little lacking. The book does not have all the information required to pass the exam, but it is a good helper for experienced gear-heads.
Rating: Summary: Solid Info Review: This book is very well done. Compared to some of the other publications, I find it concise and to the point. The objective oriented approach is a great idea. I will be taking the CCNA exam later this month and combined with my 5 years of internetworking experience I am confident I will pass, Thanks Todd!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic tool to gather and focus your thoughts. Review: After reading Todds CCNA Study Guide I used the Exam notes to review and priortize any weakness I still had in preparation for the Exam. After a good review session I walked in and aced the Exam!!!
Rating: Summary: The best way to prepare if you have real world experience. Review: This book is perfect for anyone who has some experience with Cisco routers, and internetworking in general, and is looking to prepare for the test. The material and debth covered is right on. The sample questions are much easier and less specific than the real test, but they let you know if you need to review material again. I read this book cover to cover twice, and passed with an amazing score. If yau have some experience, this book will focus you right where you need to be.
Rating: Summary: Experience + CCNA Study Guide + This Book = CCNA Review: This book is an excellent source for preparing for the CCNA test, although nothing beats experience. I used this book, Todd's CCNA Study Guide, some web resources, oh yeah and my 16 years of experience. I passed the test. On to the next one. Good job Todd.
