Summary: I passed the test using only this book.
Review: If you want to pass the CCNA exam, this is the only book you need. It has all the objectives covered, and is written in an easy to understand format. I think this is the best book for studying for your CCNA exam. I looked at the Syngress/Osborne book and think this book is way better. I recommend this book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Use this book for the test!
Review: If you want to follow the test objectives clearly, and precisely, then buy this book. I also recommend the ICRC book by Laura Chappel. Between those two books, you will pass the test and have info to help you at any job.

Summary: Perfect For The CCNA
Review: Just passed the CNA after reading this book with no previous CISCO experience. It covered about 90% of the questions. It left out some switching concepts. Highly recommended.

Summary: Best of the books on CCNA!
Review: I purchased a few CCNA books, and this one is the best. It has some great features, including having the test objectives at the beginning of each chapter. I recommend this book if you are studying for your CCNA. This is coming from a new CCNA!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very targetted towards test preperation but a little ragged.
Review: I just got back from taking the CCNA exam and passed with 10 points to spare. This book was my primary means to prepare for the test. If you know everything in this book, you will pass. If you don't have a photographic memory however, it will be difficult without hands-on, which I do have. The book has some rough edges and sometimes the authors do not say what they mean. While a very good book it looks like a beta.

Summary: Great writing style, covers all CCNA test objectives.
Review: Unlike the Syngress/Osborne book, the Sybex book covers all the test objectives without making you read all about useless information not on the exam. Thanks to this book, I passed the exam. The review questions really helped prepared me for the exam.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I recommend this book for the CCNA exam.
Review: I passed the CCNA exam and am now a CCNA! This book had everything I needed to help me understand the objectives for the test. If you are considering the Cisco tests, beware, they are a lot harder then the Microsoft tests.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I passed the test the first time.
Review: This book is very well written, very well orginized and formatted in an easy to read manner. I read the chapters, went through the exercises and read the practice test questions twice. I passed with an 83% the first time. I recommend this book highly!!!!

Summary: I passed after reading only this book!
Review: I passed the test and am now a CCNA!!! Thanks Sybex! This book covers everything you need to a tee. After going through the chapters and review questions, I didn't have a problem with the test. I recommend loading the CD with the utilities.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I passes the first time with an 86%.
Review: I used this book to hlep me study for and pass the CCNA exam. I received an 86%. It is the highest score that I have heard of. I have co-workers who have failed the test, and then studied and passed, but only with around 78-80%. This book helped me to pass the first time with a decent score. I recommend this book highly.
