Rating: Summary: Experience + Todd's Study Notes + This book = CCNA Review: This book is an excellent source for preparing for the CCNA test, although nothing beats experience. I used this book, Todd's CCNA Study Notes, some web resources, oh yeah and my 16 years of experience. I passed the test. On to the next one. Good job Todd.
Rating: Summary: Read this Book and pass the exam! Review: I bought this book, the(CCNA)Study notes and Laura Chappell's Intro to Cisco Router Configuration. These three books were priceless in my journey to CCNA - the information in all three books fused together to give me more than what I needed to pass this test!
Rating: Summary: Does what it says it does, prepares you for the exam. Review: Read this book and passed the exam the first time. Having previously studied Networking and TCP/IP seemed to help. Of the people that gave bad reviews, most claim there are alot of errors in the book. I read and summarized every paragraph in the book. There aren't nearly as many errors as these people claim. The book works!
Rating: Summary: This is Exactly what you need to be CCNA !!!!!!!!! Review: I studied this book just 4 days and passed CCNA exam. This book covers 100 per cent of the test objective. Very well written and very easy to understand !!!!!!
Rating: Summary: If you want the knowledge to be Certified, this is the book! Review: With this book and HANDS ON, the CCNA test should be a piece of cake. Anyone who studies without the hands-on may pass this test, but will certainly have problems with the CCNP and especially the CCIE. In the front of this book is information on how to obtain routers for about 40% off of list price. It's strongly recommended that you use this avenue to obtain hands-on knowledge.Todd Lammle is an expert in the Internetworking arena and knows his stuff. I've taken his CCNA class, and I am here to tell you he's definitely Cisco smart and knows TCP/IP extremely well. I will definitely be investing in every book he publishes concerning the Cisco certification and I recommend Todd to anyone who is serious about obtaining the Cisco Certifications.
Rating: Summary: A GOOD BOOK FOR CCNA EXAM Review: This is absolutely a good study guide for CCNA exam. I studied it for two weeks and I passed the exam yesterday with a score 93%. I highly recommend it to those who wants to take the CCNA exam.
Rating: Summary: The only book you need to pass CCNA Review: The only book you need to pass CCNA. However, you are recommended to study Cisco ICRC in order to strengthen your knowledge.
Rating: Summary: Good book! Review: I just passed the exam with the help of this book and ICRC. The review questions of this book are similar to those in the exam. The text is easy to read and follow. Forget the ICRC book if you have a strong background in networking. One thing I don't like is... the design of the cover. Who can fix it? :)
Rating: Summary: Great CCNA Study Guide Review: This is a study Guide for the CCNA exam. It has a lot of great information for real life production networks, but is best used at home or in a lab environment. I used the book and labs to study for my exam, then read every question at the end of each chapter. I passed with a 94%, highest of anyone I know. Good luck, Dennis
Rating: Summary: Needless to say. Review: Thumb up. The best from Lammle. Hope to see the same good stuff for CCNP as well.
