Rating: Summary: The "Transcender" of CCNA Review: I have managed a microsoft training program that taught career changers to be MCSE's and I have now moved on to the "Cisco World" and have found the this Sybex book as much better than the Sybex books that these gentlemen wrote for MCSE. I passed the exam on the first try.
Rating: Summary: It's enough for the exam. Review: This book itself is enough to make you pass the exam. The best book for the CCNA exam. It's the best book I read by Todd.Outstanding effort and reputation.
Rating: Summary: Raj Abraham - CNE 4, MCP+I, MCSE, CCNA Review: This is a great book. The book has been presented in a very easy to follow and logical manner. I just spent three weeks on the book and it gave me enough confidence to appear for the exam which I passed with 90% on my first try. The Qs presented at the end of each chapter are very good. Great book - go for it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent for CCNA preparation Review: This book is excellent. It's a good book to prepare for the CCNA exam. The questions at the end of each chapter are very representative of the actual CCNA test. However, there are some errors in the review answers.
Rating: Summary: Aces... Simply, Aces..... Review: My background on routing was basically non-existant. Not only did this book clearly explain the concepts and what you needed to know to pass the test, but it did so in easy to understand language. I passed my CCNA with 90% on the first try. I highly reccomend that if you read the book and work through the 200+ test questions & lab exercises, YOU WILL PASS!
Rating: Summary: An absolute must... Review: This is definately the BEST book for CCNA - it will get you to pass the exam and SHOULD get you to remember things in the process. But beware.. if you want to do REALLY well (consistantly) you need some thing a little more technical to back it up.. try the ICRC from Cisco press...
Rating: Summary: This is the Book Review: Focused, detailed, and coherent. I passed my exam using this book and the Cisco Press ICRC text. I highly reccomend this one to anyone thinking about the CCNA exam.
Rating: Summary: If you buy it you will pass!!! Review: I bought this book and passed the test the first time! Well written and easy to understand! The only flaw I found was that a couple of the review answers where wrong.
Rating: Summary: Excellent--a great preperation guide. Review: I picked up this guide because I had the opportunity to take this test for free at a Cisco conference. After seeing the reviews here, I decided to give Lammle's book a shot...and I was delighted! The questions in the test exam were very representative of the actual test--just reviewing the practice test helped me out a great deal. The book is written in a good, readable format and with a not-too-overly-technical voice. It's a very good starting point for a beginning router guru.
