Summary: A HUGE SCAM
Review: This is a scam, no question about it. If you decide to buy this, you will be paying hundreds of dollars to learn a tiny vocabulary and virtually no grammar. And you will be an idiot.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of, if not the best german learning program
Review: This program works the same way kids learn language - by listening and repeating. I've tried multiple methods and this was by far the best - Remember however, if you are a "bottoms-up" kind of person who likes to learn the grammar and vocabulary first, this is not for you. However, if you are looking to converse in German very quickly, this works very well.

Summary: Good but overpriced
Review: Though this is arguably the best audio language program out there the price is horrendous. You really do learn a lot almost through osmosis so it can be an invaluable aid to learning a language but that's all it is, an aid. Those who think that they can buy these programs and go to Germany and be fluently conversant will be in for a shock. I recommend pairing these programs up with the Berlitz essentials series, a good german dictionary and one (it's all you need) German newspaper. Hamburger Abendblatt is excellent and not too advanced. Don't even start learning a new language until you've read Barry Farber's "How To Learn Any Language". Good luck and don't go broke buying these programs, they're pretty rudimentary.
