Summary: "7 Habits" is a "10"
Review: This book has been on "Best Seller" lists since its publication. Mr. Covey offers a useful and possible spirituality that you can take with you to every aspect of your life. While not actually a theology, his system is easily integrated into any religious system or philosophy. People find this book useful, because the ideas and the advice are practical and make good sense

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: For everyone, not just business people
Review: If you want to know how to improve your friendships and relationships, at work, at home, in life, then this book is for you. Learn where your priorities are and need to be. Gotta read it

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Here is your guide to personal success!
Review: If you want to have quantum changes of improvement in your life, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is a must read. Each habit progressively builds upon the previous one, enlightening the reader with exciting possibilities of personal fulfillment. Let Dr. Covey show you how to make your habits work in your favor

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A principled, common sense approach to life, relationships
Review: Dr. Covey has written, in very understandable language, a lesson on life. I cannot think of a single person who would not benefit from reading this book. The 7 habits are based on principles, not quick-fixes, and common sense as well as life lessons learned through reading and studying the Bible. Developing these 7 habits in you every day life will be a long process and well worth the results. I would recommend this book to everyone who can read and if you cannot read, buy the tapes

Summary: Oh, come on!
Review: A hodge-podge of philosophies stolen without thanks from real thinkers. Highly recommended for people who have never sat down and thought about things, but just the latest fad for the rest. It will be forgotten in 5 years, and replaced quite adequately with equally trite material. Attend the course, you enthusiasts, and receive a list of merchandizing gimmicks which would shame an airline magazine! The course is the most devious method of selling a personal organizer I've ever seen, and it bodes ill for the world that some people buy it! This is all common sense! Do you really need to read a book to tell you that you really ought to have principles?

Summary: I cherish the opportunity to comment on this masterpiece!
Review: This book is continually having a tremendous impact on my life. I periodically refer back to 7 Habits to renew the basic principles that guide my life. It is a timeless book and will be just as valuable to my children, and their children, as it has been for me. I have studied philosophy for many years, and was left with an emptiness; I was left with no solid foundation for even the basic principles of truth, courage, honor, etc.. 7 Habits filled this void. It is a must read for individuals striving to find a philosophical foundation

Summary: Personal Leadership for at Home and at Work
Review: Stephen Covey's book has had immense staying power on the best seller's lists. It has touched a core nerve in today's society that is deluged with quick fix attitudes and programs(lose ten pounds in three days!). As Mr. Covey points out and as most of us know through experience, there are no true quick fixes. Mr. Covey's best work is in laying the foundation for attitude shifts, helping us put the focus on what is truly important in our lives and making sure we ACT in manner consistent with our principles. He emphasizes what most of us know all ready but fail to put into practice in our daily lives. As a result, we like what he has to say even if the true test is whether we go out and do it. The book has a tendency to provide examples that seem right out of "Chicken Soup for the Soul" (and if you like that book you'll like this one) but which for me seem to be a bit trite and sentimental. By the end, I found the style of the book rather dry and stale. Overall, the book is a worthy read, although I have a feeling it sits on many book shelves, ironically, just another unfinished project delayed by other urgent matters.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best of the Best
Review: Simple, no-hype way to improve your life. Get the book and read it through. First things first is also a good book to get for time management. Only criticism is that Covey's voice doesn't transfer very well to tape -- I have to stick with the book

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Covey changes your live.
Review: Nobody is perfect. You can improve yourself. With Covey's book you learn to look different at yourself and others. This will change your attitude and behaviour, which help to be a better, more effective, person

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Get two copies - one to keep, one to loan out!
Review: Stephen Covey has revolutionized the science of self-improvement by exposing the principles underlying the practices taught in all the other books. The principles he has outlined improve every aspect of life and follow a logical progression from dependence through independence to interdependence, each step building on the last. The Seven Habits embody the notion that self-improvement is an ongoing task, that whatever you do - no matter how well you do it - can be done a little better next time. If you have not yet had the chance to read this book, you owe it to yourself to get a copy now. I purchased several copies so that I can loan them out to friends - you will too
