Summary: expensive but worth it
Review: Don't expect to learn all the science you need from these tapes. However, they are useful. I listen to them in the car on my way to and from work. Then when I see the material in a textbook I already know about the topic and it makes it much easier to learn and remember.The cost is high for what you get, but I couldn't find any substitutes and it is worth what you pay for it. I would buy it again and recommend it. Good luck on the DAT.

Summary: Excellent Review for the DAT, probably the best there is....
Review: I felt a little deceived by what this product claims and after listening to the tapes, I was right. I feel it is not a "comprehensive" review of the sciences at all. Only a brief overview. It does not cover "every fact, formula,..." etc. like they say. I should have guessed this when I only got 4 audio tapes that are suppose to cover 3 major college courses. Too good to be true I guess. Specifically, I noticed that some of the organic chemistry topics on the audio tapes are NOT actually on the DAT (probably because they used the MCAT audio tapes for the DAT, they are different TESTS!) I wasted my time listening and taking notes at times. When I matched up my notes from these tapes to the actual DAT topics, I didn't need these, and could have spent more time on actual DAT topics. Secondly, I ended up referring to my text books a lot. Sure, audio tapes are ok, like a lecture, but I gained the most from studying (by DAT topic) my nice color text books and actually DOING chemistry and organic chemistry questions. The audio tapes were not that helpful here. Bottom line, for me, the best review and study material for the DAT was 1) my college text books, 2) the list of topics provided by the ADA in the Test Application packet and 3)lots of sample DATs including PAT tests in the computer format. Focusing on these 3 things got me a 22 average after about 2 months of evenings and weekend studying.

Summary: Do not order from audiolearn directly
Review: I haven't received the DAT CDs yet so I cannot rate the actual product. I am giving audiolearn one star because they failed to ship my order as promised. Save yourself the trouble of ordering directly from their website. I paid extra money to have the CDs shipped overnight and I haven't seen them yet. It has been three days since I placed my order.

Summary: This is great for remembering all the details
Review: I highly recommend this! I could study while I was lying in my bed or working out at the gym. It really helped me memorize all the stuff they make us remember. It worked for me.

Review: I used many aids to study for the DAT, and this one was excellent because it had the MOST IMPORTANT principles I needed to know. Little things like the pathway sound makes through the ear, or the path blood takes around the body, or why the loop of henley is so important in the nephron. It helped put the massive amounts of information in my head into an organized fashion. (I ended up getting a 26 on the Biology section - 100th percentile! No study guide will get you that score by itself, but this one sure helped!)

Summary: Do NOT Take the DAT without this powerfull tool!
Review: This is by far the best test prep. for the DAT. My friends have tried the one for the MCAT and they all loved it and suggested it to me. I found it very helpful, I like the fact that I could listen to it while driving. You will learn more than you ever thought. Its like having a personal tutor that repeats every thing as many times as you want. I can go on and on, but bottom line, GET IT, Its money well spent. GOOD LUCK!!!
