Rating: Summary: great tool to lug around in your wedding workbag Review: the first time i saw this book on the shelf, i immediately got attracted to the way it was laid-out. no frills, nice combination of light and dark pinks plus the roses in the background gave it a feminine, girly touch - a pretty exciting sight for a first time bride. the inside is consistent - good, solid advice for brides to be, and it takes you step by step through every nook and niche of planning for your wedding. it has a guest list for 228 people, has great check lists for every part of your wedding, from spreading the news to what you must do after the excitement has died down. i just wish it had more pockets for contracts, lists, contact numbers, etc. but since it's a small, put-it-inside-your-workbag kind of planner, it's a good buy for the price. plus the nifty advice it gives about wedding cakes, the different kinds of icing and how much each costs is truly valuable! it even has a checklist for changing your name. all in all, it's a nice-looking, girly thing to have while meeting with your wedding suppliers. but thankfully, it's not just a pretty thing- it's down to earth, feminine, smart, motherly at times, straightforward and really helpful - pretty much like the bride/wife that i want to be!
