Review: I've used all editions of this text and admired them all. Bowles foundation book is the only comprehensive and complete text in this field. For a long time the civil engineering library lacked for a text or a reference that a student or a professional can refer to until bowles text appeared which enriched this field with a valuable text. More than 100 stars for Bowles. more of the good stuff and long live Bowles.
