Summary: Resourceful, but be careful.
Review: Although this contains a lot of information about anti-aging drugs in the world, but we might have to be suspicious about what they are insisting here. They seem to be trying to be objective by reciting academic papers, but we ought to be careful about using these drugs. It might be possible for you to have obsessions about taking these drugs. Be careful.

Summary: Changed my life
Review: I followed the protocols outlined in the book and eventually formulated a smart drug regimen that worked well for me. It is a combination of deprenyl (5 mg) and piracetam (1200 mg). Purchasing these substances has been much easier than I expected. And the results have been nothing less than a total transformation. My life has come together finally and I am advancing in my work. I really do feel that this has been the key I've been looking for all my life.

Summary: A very good book for beginners
Review: Nootropics have allowed me to pull my grade point average from a 3.2 to a 4.0. Obviously none of these drugs will completely overhaul your intellect, but they can make a huge difference if you are healthy and simply lack the ability to concentrate on your work. Nootropics simply offer that little kick of energy and concentration that makes all the difference.

As always, be careful. Some nootropics can be dangerous, most however are harmless. Just be sure to check medline and rec.drugs.smart to make sure there are no really dangerous side effects from whatever it is your considering taking. If you feel you aren't ready check the safety of things, and accept perhaps a bit of risk, then this book isn't for you.

And remember, Nootropics don't offer a "free lunch"; you'll find yourself sleeping a bit more heavily after having really exerted that mental muscle that is your brain!

Summary: You need the first book too, but they are both outdated.
Review: This book is worse than the first in that it does not contain as many chapters or have as many diescriptions to smart drugs. However, the 2 books seem to be the definitive books even though they are badly in need of an update! Therefore, I give 4 stars. I would normally give 3, but I give 4 because smart drugs work. Get the first book and take it slow. Do online research and "titrate" slowly.
